Dean's Message

It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the School of Civil Engineering (SCE) at Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Vellore, Tamil Nadu. The school is offering one undergraduate programme in B. Tech - Civil Engineering and two postgraduate programmes are M. Tech in Structural Engineering and M.Tech in Construction Technology & Management. The school also offering research programmes ( Ph.D and M. Tech ( By research)).

At SCE, preparing Civil engineers of the future is our top priority and it is almost everything that we do in our School. The Engineering curriculum at our school has been prepared with the knowledge that engineering is the most exciting and diverse field of the time. The students are therefore prepared for a wide range of careers and leadership for 21st century.

Our School has a faculty of diversity in intellect, creative thinking, and talent. Committed to excellent teaching, research and innovation, the faculty inspires their students to translate the knowledge acquired to solve real-world problems.

The School has specialized laboratories and research facilities that has enabled it to be at the cutting edge of Civil Engineering. The SCE is the right place to learn the quality civil engineering education which is at par with international standards.
