1. General Eligibility

(i) VIT-Vellore and VIT-Chennai Campus:
A pass in Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the State / Central Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with 70% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM).
(ii) VIT – AP and VIT Bhopal Campus:
A pass in Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the State / Central Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with 65% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM).

2. For SC/ST, Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh and North Eastern states:

(i) VIT-Vellore and VIT-Chennai Campus:
The Qualifying Marks is relaxed by 10% i.e. 60% in PCM for applicants belong to SC/ST and applicants hailing from Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh and the North Eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim & Tripura.
(ii) VIT – AP and VIT Bhopal Campus:
The Qualifying Marks is relaxed by 10% i.e. 55% in PCM for applicants belong to SC/ST and applicants hailing from Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh and the North Eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim & Tripura.

4. Important notes:
|
- Candidates who have studied in Regular, Full time and Formal Education are alone eligible to apply.
- Applicants belonging to SC/ST category should submit community certificate.
- Applicants hailing from Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh and the North Eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura. They should submit Nativity Certificate.
