VIT, Robert Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions sign MoU
Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) and Robert Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions Private Limited (RBEI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for Campus Engagement Programmes at VIT recently.
Dr. G. Viswanathan, Chancellor, Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) said that VIT and Robert Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions Private Limited (RBEI) entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for Campus Engagement Programmes at VIT, and will establish world class facility for Mobility Research-autonomous and intelligent driving system to meet the critical challenges.
Dr. G. Viswanathan also informed that VIT collaborates with RBEI for the Future of Mobility – Autonomous Vehicle through training of faculty, deeper academic engagement on curriculum design and development, joint research projects, setting up IRSC Chapter and support for RBEI training and early campus recruitment processes.
Mr. R.K.Shenoy Senior Vice president of Robert Bosch said that this partnership will leverage VIT and RBEI in organizing joint workshops, projects and training programmes in focused domains, besides student and faculty mobility. Dr. Sekar Viswanathan, Vice President, VIT said that both the organizations would focus on autonomous driving system, EMI and EMC, health care diagnostics system and strengthening joint research activities through this Campus Engagement Agreement.
Dr G. Viswanathan, Dr. Anand A Samuel, Vice Chancellor, VIT and Mr. R.K Shenoy, Senior Vice President and Mr. Sriram, Vice President and Head HR of RBEI signed the MOU recently. Dr. Sekar Viswanathan, Vice President, Dr. K. Sathiyanarayanan, Registrar, Deans and Directors, VIT and Bosch University Relation team were present during the signing of MoU.
