Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) on Tuesday donated ₹1.25 crore to the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister’s Public Relief Fund (CMPRF) towards the relief efforts in the aftermath of Cyclone Michaung. Dr. G. Viswanathan, Founder-Chancellor, VIT, met Hon’ble Chief Minister Thiru. M.K.Stalin at the State Secretariat in Chennai and presented the cheque for ₹1.25 crore. VIT Vice Presidents Mr. Sankar Viswanathan, Dr. Sekar Viswanathan and Dr. G.V. Selvam were also present.
