VIT School of Advanced Sciences conducted a three day seminar on Crystal Growth in association with the Indian Association for Crystal Growth (IACG). The university has become synonymous with research and had scientists from many prominent research centers like Raja Ramanna Center for Advanced Science attending the seminar. The Chancellor pointed out the wide spread application of crystal growth in the field of semiconductors. Professor Furmio Hamada from Akita University, Japan was the guest of honor and Professor Kalinathan the conveyor.
