SELECT has industry sponsored advanced laboratories for doing research. Schneider Electric, India and NxP Semiconductors, India, have established Centre of Excellence for students R&D activities under the guidance of faculty members and Industry experts.

Class Rooms
The classrooms are well designed that incorporate everything needed for a pleasant learning atmosphere. The wide spacious classrooms are equipped with a white board and also a projector that are used for teaching so that a professor can switch to different modes of teaching as and when required. This ensures that the teaching is never monotonous and the lectures are put across in the best way possible. This hi-tech equipment enables our faculties to conduct classes in a way that enable students to make use of every available resource from one point at the click of a button. These classrooms are also often used for seminars and events from time to time

- Major Softwares available for Research, B.Tech and M.Tech Projects - Lab View, Multisim, Cadence EDA Tools, Mentor Graphics EDA, ORCAD, PSPICE, Xilinx PLD Tools, MatLab, Simulink, PSCAD, EMTDC, Technology CAD, Hardware Flux, MiPower, SCADA, PLCs. Necessary Hardwares are available for measurement, characterization and synthesis of Electrical, Electronics and Instrumentation Systems. PC based experimental facilities are available in almost all the labs. Lab activities are guided by the Lab Mentors and Lab – in- Charges All the Labs are headed by the Mentors and Lab-in-Charges. The lab Mentors have vast experience in the area with Ph.D. degree’s from reputed institutes of the country and abroad. Lab-in-charges are also the senior faculty members of the school who have lot of experience.

- All the labs have LCD Projectors for students' projects/expt. results presentations
- Fully air-conditioned labs have Internet and Intranet Facilities
- Some of the labs have online experimental facilities.
- Majority of the labs have MoUs with renowned Industries of India and foreign universities
- The School also has a smart class room where students can display and present the results of mini projects, major projects, call for a meeting with faculty mentors and senior students.
