The systematic way of collection, organization, storage, preservation, and sharing of data of a research project is called research data management. As per the scholarly review studies, it has been identified that resourcing, alignment of research and data management, researcher openness, and governance of research data are the important issues in research data management. Non systematic way of research data management leads to incomplete, incorrect, and corrupted data. The process of normalizing inconsistent entries, tracing out missing information consumes a long time. An initial commitment to properly collecting, recording, and storing data saves considerable time span. Hence it is targeted to conduct a training programme on the topic “Research Data Management”. The main goal of the training programme is to provide interactive, brainstorming and awareness sessions to the research aspirants in the topic of “Research Data Management”, It aims to conceptualize prominent issues involved in managing the research data. It will explain the importance and scope of data management in the research arena by emphasizing the processes in finding, organizing, describing,storing, sharing data with different rights and permissions.
