As a tribute to Ramanujan and in honor of his birthday, the 22nd of December is celebrated as "National Mathematics Day". His contributions to Number theory, Mathematical analysis and Continuous fractions are so important that mathematicians will always be inspired by them. These results further inspired several other research and opened new fields of work. The main goal of the event is to make people more aware of how important math is to the progress of humanity. The proposed event is intended to include invited talks and several events by UG/PG students and scholars.
