The STUTI program envisions sensitization and hands-on-training of the state-of-the-art equipment as well as sharing the S & T facilities while ensuring transparent access. Department of Science and Technology has identified Jamia Hamdard University, New Delhi as Project Management Unit (PMU) and VIT as the coordinator for this workshop.
VIT Vellore is home to state-of-the-art instruments such as NMR, GC-MS, HPTLC and HRTEM and the workshop will explore the theory and practice involved in various types of analysis of molecules important for Pharmaceutical & Nutraceutical Industries and structure determination. Expert talks and hands-ontraining arranged in the workshop will provide an idea about the working mechanism of the instruments, concepts as well as problems faced in the analysis of the said samples and offer solutions.
