A boon to graduates, diploma holders who plan to start an independent venture VELLORE: The Technology Business Incubator (TBI) functioning out of Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Vellore is offering a 6-week accelerated business coaching program to help graduates, diploma holders and youth who plan to start their own business in the areas of food and agro processing technologies. VITTBI is a joint venture between VIT and the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. According to the news release, the 6-week training programme between 17th September and 29th October 2018 will cover the essentials of Entrepreneurship, basics of Marketing, Finance and Human Resource Management apart from providing ample exposure to various facets of food processing techniques, quality control, certification processes, hospitality industry, packaging etc. The training programme will also equip the participants with adequate knowledge to write and present a bankable project report. Suitable projects will be considered for incubation at VITTBI as well. Applications are invited from graduates, diploma holders in Engineering / Science in the age group between 22 - 45 years. Selected participants will have to remit a caution deposit in the form of DD for Rs. 3,000/- in the name of VIT-Technology Business Incubator, payable at Vellore. The same will be returned to the participants after successful completion of their training.
